Migration when files in Sharepoint: problem of copied file length = 0 solved once and for all.
Question history: NEW - Now in the question item settings panel the history or changelog of the question item is updated when you accept the reviews.
Question review: if the question type is Multiple response with Weighted answers then the weights appear in parenthesis with each distractor.
Bug: The active excel sheet appeared empty after an automatic migration. It is now refreshed.

Flat view: The bug in the Custom fields columns is now corrected. Cells validation lists show now correctly.
Question settings: Scroll bars within the popup are operational. Also, popup height slightly reduced.

The Tool restriction usage for computers not connected to a Nokia network was removed. This will help some extra EDU people.
Documentation: alignment with this version of the IR Quiz Editor file. Question Items individual settings Changed Item setting icon by a gear icon. Allow copy Item ID to clipboard so as to be used in Flat View. Changed label "Question history" by "Item history". Keep Item Id field only For ExamStudio. ExamStudio NEW - Manage items of type Multiple Weighted Responses. For a given item you enter the weight of a response in column D, ie, replacing the "X" by a decimal number. Export and import files managed with Addin v2.2.2.2 . Moved Custom fields values from column AL to column S. This was done to facilitate their modification without using the item settings. Migration procedure updated. Several other improvements done all over the tool.
V3.2.0.5 - December 8, 2022 - MAJOR RELEASE AUTOMATIC UPDATES, AUTOMATIC QUESTIONS MIGRATION Automatic update: starting with v3.2.0.5 the tool has now an automatic upgrade procedure for the Excel file. This powerful function will ensure you always work with the latest version. When notifying you of an available new version the tool also proposes to migrate the questions in your currently opened excel file to the new version in just one click! The latest version of the Excel file is now available on your Nokia One drive on the folder "Nokia\IR Quiz Editor - Documents\IR Quiz Editor - Latest version\" History of a question: you have now the possibility to enter free text in the detail view of any question in the tab named "History". You can use this to enter changelog for every question. Flat View sheet: it now includes a column "History". Modifying the content will modify the question History. Flat View sheet: it now includes a column "Review pending". The question's cell will be yellow if the question has a pending Review. Clicking on the cell will take you to the question's Review tab. Minor bug corrected in the "View Warnings and Errors" popup window. V3.2.0.4 - September 28, 2022 Bug correction: a case of crash was reported, corrected here. V3.2.0.3 - September 21, 2022 ADDIN menu now ONLY within the Excel file ribbon: having two ribbon menus, one for ADDIN and one for Excel file was for some people a bit confusing. All the functions available and launched from the ADDIN are now put on the Excel file ribbon. The ADDIN ribbon disappears for versions >= 3.2.0.3. It remains for older versions for compatibility reasons. Custom fields: 10 custom fields per question where created allowing further configuration and setup of the questions. Custom field Management is done on the 'Objectives’ sheet, it is dynamic. You can modify the Custom field title label. The new Add-in v2.2.1.4 version manages these custom fields during the export phase. Question setup button: includes a new button 'Move item' to move the item onto another sheet. Question setup button: when accepting reviews the initial contents of stem and answers are replaced by the accepted contents while the reviewing popup window is opened. Button 'Move questions' : move questions from one sheet to another one. Multiple selection of sheets and questions is allowed. Button 'Go to sheet' : navigate to any sheet of the file, including the questions groups. Field 'Difficulty level' : the list of values now in the Objectives sheet Flat view: includes new columns to modify the custom fields values per question. Button 'View errors and warnings' : procedure accelerated, also impacts the acceleration of the save file process. Ribbon buttons appearance modified to take into account new buttons. Closing the file: improvement in the management in closing the excel file. Tool error handling procedure: a new error handling procedure was created to capture tool errors. Several improvements impacting the excel file related to new Add-in improvements & features done in Add-in v2.2.1.4 Other improvements: a lot of hidden improvements making the tool faster, more reliable and configurable. V3.1.0.0 - June 19, 2022 New functionalities Review / Comment a question: new dialog box to share review of questions with your team. Includes acceptance or rejection of a single question, or of all questions. Extra feature: automated creation of an outlook mail including all the reviews of the file. Settings for a question: new dialog box to modify the parameters of a question. An alternative to modifying single cells. New command buttons: sheet navigation and Review questions related to the new feature described above. New field for a question: version of a question. It is exported for ExamStudio. Enhancements in the management of the Flat View sheet (eg, red color when questions status is delete or inactive or do not export ) and other. V3.0.0.6 - May 4, 2022 Improvements Copy/Paste of cells between two IR Quiz Editor files now works! It is Operational for the 'Objectives' and 'Groups of questions sheets'. Source file version has to be >= v3.0.0.6 Recommendation Acceptance cell: more explicit handling of author in column X. NEW 2 new optional fields: Thinking Level and Difficulty Level can be set for each question. The totals are provided in the Quiz Analytics sheet. These fields are for information and hence for quality review improvement. New command: 'Enable Boost' in the menu ribbon. You can use it to accelerate execution when a sheet has more than ~10 questions. Same effect as in the Add-in. Some minor bugs corrected V3.0.0.5 - April 23, 2022 Improvement: Show warnings and errors descriptions per question whenever saving the file. Before was showing only the question stem. 2 issues corrected Flat view: severe issue corrected when 2 files in v3.0.0.4 were opened and Flat view were used on both. This problem appeared only with v3.0.0.4. Questions sheets: from time to time empty lines between questions were not fully empty because containing a single space. In those cases there were conditions when the tool could not determine exactly the number of response options for a question leading to an error. In modifying this, now when inserting a line with a new response option the tool fills it with a default text rather than a single space. V3.0.0.4 - March 18 2022 Objectives sheet: count in column K was not correct when column M had identical labels. V3.0.0.3 - Feb 27 2022 Several major improvements in the Flat View that ease the tasks of copying and pasting. Also, when moving questions, there was a problem when a sheet of questions had zero questions after removing the last one. For Sheets Group of Questions and sheet Objectives: Deletion and Insertion of entire rows and columns now forbidden because many cases seen where Learning Consultants loose time in trying to get back to a good template. This implementation is a no problem because to add response options just need to press the +/- cell, and to delete and add a question just need to click on Bin icon or on the Add a question button. V3.0.0.2 - Feb 22 2022 MAJOR RELEASE Several improvements to improve stability of release 2.1.0.9. We strongly recommend you use this edition. For a given question, each response option will automatically be finished by a dot "." unless the last character is a number. This is done for a better exam candidate's user experience. Minor issues corrected. Severe issues corrected: GCHN people could not use v2.1.0.9 because of Chinese regional settings. When Canceling the Closing of the excel file, red boxes would appear. In some cases, the very first opening of a file sent by email would show an error popup message. V2.1.0.9 - Feb 11, 2022 New sheet named 'Thinking Level': a new permanent guideline providing basic thinking level for creation of questions based on standard widely referenced Bloom's taxonomy book "Taxonomy of Educational Objectives: The Classification of Educational Goals". Question sheet names: automatic removal of characters not allowed on windows file name nomenclature so as to avoid export issues. Pictogram on Instant Recommendation cell replaced by text. Show Warnings and errors when saving (when there are). The popup now also includes the Checklist button. Bugs: several issues corrected adding more stability to the tool. V2.1.0.7 - August 26, 2021 Improvements V2.1.0.6 - June 1, 2021 Minor release to correct one error that only occurs with MSOffice 64bits Error: "Compile error in hidden module..." . 32 bits users can continue to use v2.1.0.5. Added Spell Check function in the IR Quiz Editor excel ribbon. Reason is to encourage spell check of the questions. Added detection of identical / repeated options in Multiple Response, Multiple Choice, Sequence and Matching questions. It is considered as an error, so question will not be exported. When opening the excel file, the splash window now shows what are the valid type of questions as configured by the administrator in the Addin. Improvements Flat view: Many improvements done and minor errors corrected. We recommend using this function. CSOD Cat id: Category idea is now more redable in line 1 column Q when you import their value from a file. Important note: you can now pre-enter the CSOD Cat id per question in column Q. File size: the tool now cleans the temporary sheets content to reduce file size when closing file Several minor improvements. V2.1.0.4 - February 18, 2021 A dumb regression was introduced in v2.1.0.3 whose side effect impacted the correct creation of a True / False question. Please, replace by this version. V2.1.0.3 - February 16, 2021 Compatibility Microsoft Office 64bits Button to view errors and warnings in a single popup. Just doubleclick to jump to the problematic questions. Button 'Flat view': Switch views to filter and sort questions, quickly modify the most important fields. Set the Learning Objectives as defined in the Objectives sheet. Includes the ExportLog sheet used by addin v2.1.0.3 and higher. Note that addin also works without this sheet. 'Objectives' sheet: includes now the 'Topic' column. Both 'Topic' and 'Learning objectives' data in this sheet can be used for all questions. And thanks to the new 'Flat view' you can now quickly modify these entries. IMPROVEMENTS: Slightly faster when switching excel tabs. Adding media file: when CSOD enabled then the 'Click to illustrate' text is invisible because not allowed. Button 'Jump to question' replaced by "Find question' with better handling. The feature now finds questions in the whole workbook. Reorganization of the excel ribbon with an enhanced grouping of the buttons. 'Learning objectives' text now appears in column M when activating a sheet if you have entered a first learning objective.
