You don't need to install the ADDIN. The IRQE tool can work without it.
Optionally, why would you install the ADDIN?
- You want to import questions from other Excel or Word files
- You want to export the questions so as to be used by CSOD, or iSpring, or ExamStudio, or other LMS format
- You want to group the questions per topics (interesting function but let the Learning Consultant do it)
- Setup the IRQE to be able to create other type of questions
Note: installing the ADDIN is simple. It is made of only one file that is copied into your Microsoft Addins folder.
